What to write about
A few notes help us help you faster. If a calculator gave you a number that looks off, tell us which tool you used, the values you entered, and the result you expected. That lets us reproduce the case and check it against the formula on the page. If you are reporting a bug, a quick mention of your device and browser is useful, since display issues are often specific to one setup.
Have an idea for a calculator we are missing? Describe the calculation you keep doing by hand and what inputs it needs. Many of the tools on the site started as a single reader request. We also welcome corrections to our articles. If a figure has gone stale or a tax rule has changed, point us to the source and we will review and revise the page.
